• About Me: Hello! My name is LaTonya Kimbrough, and I am thrilled to begin my second year at CRES. This year marks my 19th year in education, and teaching kindergarten is truly my passion. I've previously taught NC Pre-K, as well as 1st and 2nd grades. I believe every child has unlimited potential that sometimes just needs to be unlocked. My ultimate goal is to inspire self-driven discovery and a love for learning in every student. I graduated from Mount Olive University with a Bachelor's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education. Originally, I'm from a small town called Shallotte, NC, where most of my immediate family still lives. I'm a wife, mother of five (three sons and two daughters), and a pet mama. When I'm not at school, I enjoy shopping, designing, and spending time with my family.
