    Q: What does my track schedule look like?

    A: This is the 25-26 Year-Round Multi-Track Calendar

     

    Q: Once I accept my child’s seat, what is my next step?

    A: Mark your calendar - OCE Kindergarten Orientation is on Thursday, May 8, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in our gym. Families are invited to bring your rising kindergarten student to attend this exciting evening with you.

    This orientation will include:

    • Presentation from staff

    • Tour of kindergarten hall and classroom

    • A packet with detailed information on kindergarten and staggered entry

     

    Q: What is the first day of school for kindergartners at OCE?

    A: TBD. Check back in late May.

     

    Q: Why didn’t I get my first track preference?

    A: We did strive to accommodate track preferences but couldn't always honor first choices due to grade ratio requirements. Our track rosters are carefully balanced, and as a result, we won't be making changes.

     

    Q: Is my track assignment final? 

    A: Yes. Parents can apply for a track change each spring for consideration for the following school year.

     

    Q: Why do I need to accept or reject my seat using the Accept/Reject Form?

    A: Due to our capped capacity, there's already a waitlist for kindergarten. To prioritize base students, we need your confirmation on accepting or declining a seat at Olive Chapel Elementary for the 2025-2026 academic year.

     

    Q: I have questions that have not been answered about my rising kindergartner. What should I do?

    A: If you have any questions or concerns regarding this decision, please fill out the Question/Concerns Form first. We will review your questions and call you back at a time that is convenient for you during the school's office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
