What is Copyright?
Copyright compliance can be a confusing topic, but to protect ourselves and our school, it is critical that we follow all copyright law.
-
What is Fair Use?
- Fair Use allows copyrighted material to be used for educational purposes under certain conditions.
- Fair Use covers many school uses of copyrighted material, but it does not cover everything.
- Fair use can be tricky! If you aren’t sure if something you are using qualifies as Fair Use, please talk to our principal or the school librarian for guidance.
You can read more about Fair Use at Copyright.gov.
