Learning When School is Closed: Our "Anytime Learning" Plan
Dear Preschool Parents,
Sometimes, we have to close school suddenly—like when there is a lot of snow or a big emergency. We want to make sure your little one can still keep learning and playing on those unexpected days!
We call this our "Asynchronous Remote Assignments" plan, but the easy way to think of it is "Anytime Learning."
-
No Zoom Calls at Set Times! This is the important part: Your child will not have to log in to the computer for a live class with their teacher at a specific time. We know that's hard for our youngest learners!
-
Learning on Your Schedule: Your teacher will send home fun and simple activities (the "assignments"). On your own schedule your child can do these activities at home with your help. These activities are designed to be meaningful and structured, just like the learning they do in the classroom.
-
Keep Up the Fun: This plan makes sure your child has a required day of learning activities, and you can complete them at your own pace throughout the day when it works best for your family.
This "Anytime Learning" plan helps us keep the fun of learning going, even when we can't be at school!
