Parking and Lunch Passes 2024-2025

  • Parking Passes

    Parking passes for the upcoming school year will go on sale starting August 7th, 2024.  If you receive a parking space, you will be able to pick up your pass starting August 7th, 2024 through August 26th, 2024 from 8:00–2:00 and from August 27th, 2024 – August 30th, 2024 from 2:30 – 3:00.  Selection is purely random for each spot. Students must pick up their spot by August 30th, 2024.  If not picked up by August 30th, 2024, your space will be given to the next person on the wait list. Payment of a spot does not secure your spot.  The application and a copy of the student's valid driver's license must be brought to school before 3:00 on August 30th. 

     

    Students must complete the Google form by July 30th, 2024 at midnight.  The Google Form was sent to all Juniors and Seniors on July 8th, 2024. If students are selected to receive a parking spot, they will receive an email with the application.

     

    We will follow this process for the sale of passes.  

    Seniors - We will send out a Google Form to Seniors on July 8th, and all Seniors that wish to purchase a parking space must submit the Google Form.  Students will need to be logged in to their WCPSS account to fill out the form.  We have never sold out to seniors before, but if we were to have more seniors to show interest in a space than we have spaces for, we would enter all names into a program to randomly select names and would notify those students of their ability to purchase a space.  Only Seniors that receive an email confirmation will be able to purchase a parking space. We will notify you if you are able to purchase a space on July 31st. This email will go to the student’s WCPSS email account.  If you do not have the Google Form filled out by July 30th at midnight, you will not be eligible to purchase a space.

     

    Juniors - We will send a separate Google Form to Juniors, also on July 8th, and all Juniors that wish to purchase a parking space must submit the Google Form.  We will cut off the ability for both Seniors and Juniors to fill out the parking pass interest form on July 30th at midnight. Students will need to be logged in to their WCPSS account to fill out the form.  After we sell spaces to Seniors, we will enter all names into a program to randomly select names for Juniors and will notify those students of their ability to purchase a space.  Only Juniors that receive an email confirmation will be able to purchase a parking space. This email will go to the student’s WCPSS email account in early August.  

    We will utilize student email accounts for all communication.  It is imperative that students begin checking their WCPSS Student email on July 8th. If you do not have the Google Form filled out by July 30th at midnight, you will not be eligible to purchase a space.  

     

    Please note a few important reminders:

    Junior and Senior dues, as well as any outstanding fines, will need to be paid in order for you to be able to apply for a parking pass.  Class dues will be uploaded to PowerSchool in July and will show as a fine/fee.  You should be able to see any outstanding dues, fines, or fees in your PowerSchool account. Parking passes, if paid online, is $208.10 per spot (cost is determined by WCPSS). If paid by cash or check, the cost is $200.00.  All dues, fines, and fees can be paid through SchoolCash Online.  We encourage all families to register for online payments through SchoolCash Online.  This is a new system for 2024 - 2025.  Parents will receive an email any time a new charge is added, such as parking, class dues, etc… Please do NOT pay for a parking permit until you are notified that you have received a spot.  Notification will occur in early August.  Completing the Google Form does not guarantee a student a spot.  

     

    If Holly Springs High School is not your base school, you are responsible for providing your own transportation, and bus service will not be provided.  Priority is not given to students who are assigned to a different base school. Having another school as your base school does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass. 

     

    If you plan to attend classes at Wake Tech (virtual or in person), you are responsible for providing your own transportation.  Priority is not given to students who attend Wake Tech classes. Participating in classes at Wake Tech does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass.   

     

    If you plan to have late arrival and/or early dismissal built into your schedule, you must be able to provide transportation to and/or from campus.  Priority is not given to students who arrive late or leave early. Having late arrival and/or early dismissal does not guarantee you will be able to purchase a parking pass.

     

    If you plan to participate in a Holly Springs High School sport, or an extracurricular activity including a sport, employment, or outside responsibilities, you must be able to provide transportation to and/or from campus. Participating in one of the listed activities, or a similar activity does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass.

     

    You must have a valid NC Driver's License at the time you purchase a parking pass.  This is a district policy.  If you are planning to obtain your driver's license after the start of the school year, your name can be added to the parking wait list once you obtain your driver's license.

    This is a lottery process for all students. Only Seniors and Juniors are eligible for a parking space at Holly Springs High School.

    Lunch Passes
    The application is now available. Only juniors and seniors will be able to go off campus for lunch. Applications can be returned starting August 7th, 2024.  Please make payment utilizing SchoolCash Online.
