Emails were sent to juniors and seniors on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025. Emails were sent to parents with information about the next steps, allowing parents to remind their child to check their emails. This parent communication was sent by Mr. Duvall on July 9th, 2025 and again by Mr. Miller on July 18th, 2025 through School Messenger. Students are required to complete the Google Form using their Wake County Public School's student account to request a parking space. All seniors who request a space by the August 2nd, 2025 deadline will be able to receive a space. Juniors who request a space will be placed into a random generator. If a junior or a senior would like to request a space for the 2025 - 2026 school year, they must complete the Google Form by August 2nd, 2025 at midnight. No Exceptions.
Please note there are NO exceptions.
Students must have a valid driver's license on or before Monday, August 25th, 2025, to be eligible for a parking space. There will be NO exceptions. A learner's Permit is NOT a valid driver's license.
Important Information:
If Holly Springs High School is not your base school, you are responsible for providing your own transportation, and bus service will not be provided. Priority is not given to students who are assigned to a different base school. Having another school as your base school does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass. There will be NO exceptions.
If you plan to attend classes at Wake Tech (virtual or in-person), you are responsible for providing your own transportation. Priority is not given to students who attend Wake Tech classes. Participating in classes at Wake Tech does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass. There will be NO exceptions.
If you plan to have late arrival and/or early dismissal built into your schedule, you must be able to provide transportation to and/or from campus. Priority is not given to students who arrive late or leave early. Having late arrival and/or early dismissal does not guarantee you will be able to purchase a parking pass. There will be NO exceptions.
If you plan to participate in a Holly Springs High School sport, or an extracurricular activity including a sport, employment, or outside responsibilities, you must be able to provide transportation to and/or from campus. Participating in one of the listed activities, or a similar activity, does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a parking pass. There will be NO exceptions.
You must have a valid NC Driver's License at the time you purchase a parking pass. This is a district policy. If you are planning to obtain your driver's license after the start of the school year, your name can be added to the parking wait list once you obtain your driver's license. There will be NO exceptions.
This is a lottery process for all students. Only seniors and juniors are eligible for a parking space at Holly Springs High School. There will be NO exceptions.
Lunch PassesLunch pass information was sent to families on July 21st through school messenger.
Lunch Pass Information for Juniors and Seniors:
Lunch pass distribution dates are listed below. The cost of a lunch pass is $5.00. Class dues must be paid as well. The cost for class dues is $20.00. These can be paid online through School Cash Online. There could be an additional charge if paid online. If you choose to pay in person, cash or check are accepted. You must bring the exact amount if paying in cash. Checks payable to Holly Springs High School. One check is fine. If you have chosen to pay online, please bring proof of payment. Proof of payment can be a screenshot on a phone if we can see the students name, and the payments.
ALL students who are leaving on a lunch pass MUST have their physical card each day. No Exceptions. Phone photos of the card will not be accepted.
Early release students do not need to purchase a lunch pass. They will receive a separate pass.
Dates:
- Monday, August 11th - Wednesday, August 13th from 8:00 - 12:00. Please note this is also the day and time for parking pass distribution, so please expect longer lines.
- Monday, August 18th from 10:00 - 12:00
- Wednesday, August 20th from 10:00 - 12:00
- Friday, August 22nd from 10:00 - 12:00
2025 - 2026 Lunch Pass Application/Agreement
