School is closed on Tuesday for the Veterans Day Holiday. On Veterans Day we honor all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and recognize not only their sacrifice but the sacrifice of their families. West Millbrook Magnet Middle School salutes our veterans, active duty military members and their families with a sincere thank you for your service to our country.
NC CheckIns for Language and Literature classes (all grade levels) will be given this week. NC Check Ins provide students and their teachers with data about mastery of grade-level-specific content standards which guides instruction. NC Check Ins are also a strong predictor of future EOG achievement.
Congratulations to our 2025-26 West Millbrook Magnet Middle School Teacher of the Year Kelly Craft! This is Mrs. Craft’s 19th year at West Millbrook where she has taught I&S and reading intervention and serves as our school intervention coordinator.

Please join us in congratulating our new inductees into the WMMMS Junior Beta Club! These scholars have demonstrated excellence in leadership, service, and academic achievement — we’re so proud of them! There will be a Beta Club meeting for all members, including new inductees, on Wednesday, November 12th at 3:30 PM in the Media Center. Please have rides here for pick-up by 4:10 PM in the carpool line. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Boykin-Rogers in room 1204.

Each year our PTA hosts a No Fuss Fundraiser so that the PTA can offer resources and programming for our students and teachers. Our PTA chooses the No Fuss Fundraiser rather than having students (and families) selling items like gift wrap or coupon books. If you’ve already supported the PTA fundraiser, THANK YOU. If you have not yet donated, this is a personal ask that you consider supporting our PTA through a donation. Details may be found HERE.
School is closed on Monday for a teacher workday. School resumes on Tuesday at 8:15am.
