2022-2023 White Elementary School Spelling Bee

We are proud to announce the 2022-23 White Oak Elementary School Spelling Bee! We are excited to give our Explorers this opportunity to demonstrate their spelling skills in the tradition of robust academic competition. 

Please review the spelling bee schedule listed below. 

• November 18 - Information Sheet due. Students must return the bottom portion of this form by this date in order to participate in the bee.

• November 22 - Participants will receive study lists to prepare for class spelling bees. 

  • Classroom Two Bee Words
  • Classroom Three Bee Words (if necessary)
  • Great Words, Great Works Book List
  • Spelling Bee website - www.spellingbee.com 

• December 13 – December 16 – 4th & 5th grade classes will hold a Class Spelling Bee. Specific dates will be determined by the classroom teacher. The winner and runner-up from each classroom will participate in the School-Wide Spelling Bee.

• January 19 – School-Wide Spelling Bee (Inclement Weather Date: Jan. 24) 

• Mid-March 2023 - Wake County Spelling Bee for WOES winner
