Career Development
-
Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is designed to assist students in making knowledgeable career choices that will prepare them to be globally competitive in the workforce, prepare students for employment opportunities, advanced education and productive lives.
CTE promotes best practices that enhance teachers' efforts to improve student achievement and encourage responsible career choices. We want to meet students' needs, cultivate their abilities and help them realize their aspirations. Your Career Development Coordinator can help you develop the skills you need to become career, college and citizenship ready.

Career Development Coordinator
Jennifer Jackson
Hello, I’m Ms. Jackson, and I’m thrilled to serve as the Career Development Coordinator at Wake Forest Middle School. Our students have the opportunity to explore a variety of pathways, including business and information technology, life skills, technology systems, and career-focused electives. I believe that when students can see the connection between what they learn in school and the world of work, incredible growth happens.
In my role as CDC, I support all students in grades 6–8 as they begin their journey with career awareness, planning, and exploration. My goal is to empower you to make thoughtful, informed choices about your future. I look forward to partnering with students, families, staff, and local businesses throughout the Wake Forest community. By working together, we can equip our students to thrive as responsible, engaged citizens in a global society.
