Our next general PTA meeting will be held virtually on January 29th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please join us to learn about all the exciting things happening at Rex Road and share your ideas!

📚 Book Fair and Family Literacy Night! → February 9th through the 20th 

Get ready, Rex Road families. Our PTA Book Fair will be open February 9 through February 20, giving students plenty of chances to discover new favorite books.

☀️ Before-School Parent Shopping Hours

Parents are welcome to stop by and shop before school on:

February 10, 11, 18, and 19 from 8:45–9:15 am.

This is a great option if you want to shop with your child before school. 

✨ Family Literacy Night – February 12 

Families are invited to enjoy an evening celebrating the joy of reading, with opportunities to browse and purchase books for all ages, participate in fun literacy activities, and spend quality time reading together.

We will also have an ice cream food truck on site, and pizza will be available for purchase, so come hungry and make a night of it.

This special event helps support our school while inspiring a lifelong love of reading in our students. We can’t wait to see our Rex Road Elementary community come together for a night full of books, learning, and fun!

🍦 JT’s Creamery Spirit Night → March 28th - 3:00pm–9:00 pm

Join the PTA on Friday, March 28 from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at JT’s Creamery for Rex Road Elementary’s Ice Cream March Madness Spirit Night.

JT’s is hosting a friendly competition between local elementary schools throughout March, and March 28 is Rex Road’s day to shine. A portion of all sales during that time will be donated back to our school, and the school with the highest sales will win the overall competition and earn some serious bragging rights.

To make our day even more special, students will be creating their own ice cream flavor ideas, and our school will choose a winning flavor that will be featured and sold at JT’s on our Spirit Night.

Bring your family and friends, wear your Rex Road spirit wear, and help show just how much school spirit we have, all while enjoying some delicious ice cream. Thank you for supporting the Rex Road PTA. We hope to see you there.

♻️ Pop Tops for a Good Cause

Rex Road Elementary is collecting aluminum pop tops to support the Ronald McDonald House! These small tabs make a big difference by helping provide comfort and care for families with children receiving medical treatment.

A collection receptacle is located at the front entrance of the school where students and families can drop off their pop tops anytime. Every little tab helps! 💜💛
