Hello everyone! My name is Jorge Pacheco and I am an Assistant Principal at MECME! I grew up in Graham, NC and have lived in Raleigh since 2011. I began teaching in 2016 after graduating from NC State University (Go Pack!) with a degree in Technology, Design, & Engineering Education. I taught at Fuquay-Varina high school for 6 years, teaching courses such as Video Game Art Design and Digital Animation. I then decided to pursue my Masters in School Administration from NC Central University as a part of the Principal Fellow Program. I am extremely excited to be a part of the MECME community and to get to know each and every one of our students and families!

I enjoy watching my teams (NC State and The Arsenal), playing sports, exploring new places, and trying different foods. I have a dog named Ritchie who is wild, but I love spending time with him.
