Our Program...
Since 1969, Project Enlightenment, an early childhood education and prevention program of the Wake County Public School System located in Raleigh, North Carolina, has offered a variety of resources, prevention, consultation, and education services to Wake County teachers, parents and caregivers of young children birth through kindergarten age.
Our staff includes educators, child development specialists, psychologists, and counselors.
Project Enlightenment provides a comprehensive array of early childhood services that are tailored to strengthen parents' and teachers' skills and promote successful schools and successful children and has been recognized nationally as a model program.

Project Enlightenment promotes the optimal development of young children by providing a unique blend of quality services to the Wake County community.
Since it's conception, Project Enlightenment has offered prevention and early child development services to young children and the adults in their lives, including parents, caregivers and educators.
