Special Education Services     

Herbert Akins Road Elementary School provides several services to help all students reach their full academic potential. A team of Cross Categorical Resource teachers provide targeted instruction for students needing extra learning opportunities to master math and reading skills. Two ID classrooms serve the needs of students with severe intellectual disabilities. Additional instructional support staff provide instructional interventions and marshall resources to enhance classroom teacher effectiveness and support differentiated instruction.
