Intellectual Disability (ID) Services

In ID-Severe Levels I and II, we work with the North Carolina Extended Common Core Content K-5. We utilize the Unique Learning System to enhance the learning of our students through a sensory based learning. We plan several field trips throughout the year to aid in generalization of skills learned in the classroom into the community. We have Parent Involvement Days quarterly. During Parent Involvement Days we often have programs that assist parents with community resources, explanations of Related Services, Thematic Unit Explanations and social gatherings with families and students.
