I studied Metals Fabrication at the Savannah College of Art and Design and Art Education at the University of Georgia and Appalachian State University. In 2025, I earned my National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Art. This is my sixth year teaching art and my fourth year at Lead Mine Elementary (the best school in the world!).

I’m a Raleigh native and thrilled to be back home with my husky, Jasper (10), my cat, Smokey (8), and my fiancé, Nate. Outside the art room, you’ll usually find me making art, cooking, traveling, going to concerts, exercising, or spending time outdoors with family and friends.

I can’t wait for another creative year together, where we take risks, embrace happy accidents, and ~of course~ get a little messy!
