Hello!  My name is Tiffany Palmer, and I am so excited about the upcoming school year!  This will be my 21st year as a fourth grade teacher in the Wake County Public School System.  I’m proud to say that I’ve been an Oakview Owl from the beginning (2016).  

I am originally from Illinois and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois in 2004.  Go Illini!  After moving to Raleigh and teaching several years, I enrolled at Meredith College where I earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education.  

While I am passionate about education, I also love spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, running, and unwinding with yoga.  My husband, Chris, and I live in Holly Springs with our two daughters, Claire (almost 8) and Aubri (almost 6).  Claire will be a rising 2nd grader at Oakview, while Aubri will be a rising kindergartener.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to teach fourth grade at Oakview Elementary School.  My goal is to foster growth by providing meaningful, engaging learning experiences. I look forward to establishing relationships and supporting students as they work toward reaching their individual goals.  It’s going to be a fantastic year!
