I am the coordinator of the Academically/Intellectually Gifted program at two schools in our amazing town.   I am a proud alumni of Appalachian State University for my Bachelor’s Degree; Coastal Carolina University for my Gifted and Talented licensure; and North Carolina Central University for my Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology.  I am National Board certified and I have taught in SC and NC, spending most of my career working with gifted students. I am a passionate advocate for gifted education.  I encourage critical and creative thinking for all students and believe in doing what it takes to make sure our students achieve growth every school year.
