Greetings Aversboro Families, and welcome to our school website!

Aversboro Elementary School, nestled in the heart of Garner, is truly a remarkable school.  Filled with a community of learners, we proudly boast numerous opportunities that support teaching and learning.  Our close-knit staff works collaboratively to support the learning needs of all students in our school.  We follow a traditional calendar, which means that our students are in school from late August until mid-June, with summer break spanning most of June, all of July, and much of August.

The staff at Aversboro work collaboratively with families to create strong partnerships that have a positive impact on student learning.

Aversboro’s active and supportive PTA provides cultural arts events for our students throughout the school year.  Fundraising efforts coordinated by parents support all of our students and staff all year long. 

Aversboro is an extraordinary school filled with eager and vibrant students and staff! I hope that you feel the warm, caring environment of our school every time you enter the doors of Aversboro.
