Attendance Matters
At Fuquay-Varina High School we recognize that student attendance is the foundation of a successful high school environment, laying the groundwork for academic achievement, social interaction, and personal growth. Consistent attendance not only ensures that students receive the necessary instruction to master academic concepts but also fosters a sense of responsibility and discipline crucial for their future endeavors.
Student attendance is closely linked to school culture and community cohesion. High levels of attendance contribute to a vibrant campus atmosphere where students feel connected to their peers, teachers, and the broader school community. Regular attendance promotes a sense of belonging and fosters positive relationships, which are essential for student well-being and academic success. Emphasizing the importance of attendance reinforces our commitment to academic excellence and cultivates a culture of accountability and engagement among students.
