• FVHS Technology Academy

  • The Fuquay-Varina High School Technology Academy is a small learning community within FVHS that follows the "school-within-a-school" model. The academy is designed as a four-year program accommodating a small group of students in each grade level cohort. Students take a sequence of Technology elective courses over four years along with carefully curated core academic classes exploring Academy themes within the curriculum. In addition to the course of study, the student has opportunities to make industry connections through several different work-based learning experiences, including an internship. Wake County Career Academies prepare students for both college and careers, giving them opportunities to explore, learn, and grow in the technology field along with gaining real-world experiences.

In compliance with federal law, Wake County Public School System administers all education programs, employment activities, and admissions without discrimination against any person on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age or disability.
