Work-Based Learning

Learning Beyond the Classroom: Real Experience. Real Skills. Real Connections.
Students in the Technology Academy don’t just learn about careers in technology, they experience them. Through required industry internships in their junior or senior year, students gain hands-on, real-world experience while building professional skills, confidence, and connections.
In addition to internships, students participate in a variety of work-based learning opportunities, including guest speakers, lunch-and-learns, field trips, workshops, and technology-focused career events. These experiences allow students to explore career pathways, network with professionals, build employability skills, and see how their classroom learning applies in real workplaces.
