Heading East on I-40 – (Chapel Hill, Durham, and Points West)

After passing the State Park/Cary/Harrison Avenue exit, bear right to follow signs saying Wade Avenue (Exit 289).  The expressway turns to the city street Wade Avenue. Stay on Wade Avenue to the 7th stoplight at St. Mary’s Street.  Take a right onto St. Mary’s Street and stay on it until it ends at Hargett Street.  Take a left onto Hargett Street, go 1 block to Boylan Avenue.  Take a right onto Boylan Avenue.  Proceed over the bridge and into a residential area, Project Enlightenment will be on your left just after the intersection of Boylan and Cabarrus Street.  Parking is available in the back of the building.

Heading West on Hwy 64 (Rocky Mount, Greenville, and Points East)

Take 64/264 W towards Raleigh. Merge onto 440. Take Exit #15 (Poole Road). Right onto Poole Road. Poole Road becomes Martin Luther King/Western Blvd. Turn right onto Boylan Avenue, just past the South Saunders/Dawson Street Exit. It is 4.7 miles from the Poole Road exit to South Boylan Avenue.

Heading West from Business 64 E.

Business 64 becomes New Bern Avenue.  Stay on New Bern Avenue.  It becomes Edenton Street.  When you pass the round hotel, the Clarion, Edenton Street feeds into Hillsborough Street.  Get to the left lane as soon as possible.  Stay on Hillsborough Street.  Take the second left at the light onto S. Boylan Avenue.  Cross Morgan Street and the railroad bridge and continue to the next light at Cabarrus Street and S. Boylan Avenue.  Project Enlightenment is on the corner of Cabarrus Street, and Boylan Avenue. Parking is available in the back of the building.

From 401 South and Points South

Follow 70 E into Raleigh.  Follow the signs to South Saunders Street.  Stay on South Saunders until it intersects with West Lenoir Street.  Take a left onto West Lenoir Street.  Stay on West Lenoir until it intersects with S. Boylan Avenue (our fenced playground will be on your right).  Take a right onto S. Boylan and our facility will be on the right.  If there is no parking on the street you may circle the block and park in the parking lot at the back of the building.

From 70 – Raleigh Durham Highway 

Hwy 70 becomes Glenwood Avenue.  Stay on Glenwood.  Pass Crabtree Valley Mall and continue until Glenwood intersects with Hillsborough Street.  Take a right onto Hillsborough.  Get in the left lane, turn left at the light onto S. Boylan Avenue.  Cross over the railroad bridge.  Project Enlightenment is through the second stoplight, on your left, at the corner of S. Boylan Avenue and Cabarrus Street.
