I was born and raised in Hudson Valley, NY. I received my bachelor's from Mercy College and my master's from Northeastern University. I spent a year overseas in Taiwan teaching English as a second language. My wife and I moved to the Raleigh area in 2010. I began teaching at the elementary level, but I moved to the high school level ten years ago. We have four young children and two dogs.
