Hello! My name is Alexis Jennings & I am originally from all over the US (my Dad was in the Army), but I have lived here in the Raleigh area for the past 25 years. I graduated from East Carolina University and am licensed to teach K-6, Reading K-12 and AIG K-12. I taught in the classroom for 15 years, but this will be my second year as an Instructional Coach supporting students and teachers. My husband is a firefighter for the town of Cary, and we have 4 children. My boy is grown and now lives in Wisconsin. My oldest daughter is also an ECU graduate and working in Raleigh.  My middle daughter is a NCSU graduate also working in the Raleigh area. My "baby" girl will start at NCSU this Spring. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and spending time with family, friends & my pets. On breaks I love to travel to visit my family who live all over the US and England. I am so excited to be a part of this amazing school community!
