Ms. Jacqueline Williams, Principal

Ms. Jacqueline Williams is excited and honored to have been selected as the new principal of Fox Road Magnet Elementary School. She is enthusiastic about working with the staff, students, families, and community leaders that make Fox Road Magnet Elementary School such a great place to grow and learn. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Masters in School Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has one college-age daughter, and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she is not working to support the mission and vision of Fox Road Magnet Elementary School.

Prior to joining the Fox Road Magnet Elementary team, Ms. Williams served in various roles in school communities for the past 19 years in the Halifax County Schools System.  She served as an elementary school principal for 6 years, a middle school principal for 2 years, and as the inaugural early college high school principal for 1.5 years. She also served as an assistant principal, new teacher mentor, and classroom teacher at the middle and high school levels. Ms. Williams’ main goal for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year is to build relationships with all Fox Road Magnet Elementary School staff, students, parents, and community while supporting academic excellence. She continues to focus on both staff and student social and emotional wellness as we continue to lead and learn through the pandemic.
