Dr. Beth Keefer, Principal
Dr. Beth Keefer comes to Fox Road after over two decades of teaching and leadership in WCPSS. After five years of teaching in both North Carolina and Virginia, Dr. Keefer came to WCPSS first as an English teacher, and then served as an assistant principal in the district before joining Fox Road. She is a Tar Heel through and through (Go Heels!), and she is proud to have earned both her Masters of School Administration and her doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNC.
A native of Virginia, Dr. Keefer came to the Raleigh area for a “few years” in 2002 and fell in love with the community. She is thrilled to be part of the Fox Road community and is excited to bring her experience with the International Baccalaureate Programme to the school.

Mrs. Angela Wallace, Assistant Principal
Prior to joining Fox Road Magnet Elementary, Mrs. Wallace taught as a fourth grade teacher in Durham County. Since joining the Fox Road Family in 2007, she has worked as a classroom teacher, math instructional coach, and an Instructional Resource Teacher, providing support, training, and assistance to teachers with implementing the NC Standard Course of Study through rigorous, inquiry-based instructional methods of the IB program. She has served on our Leadership Team as a teacher mentor and Math SIP goal manager.
Mrs. Wallace received her teaching degree from NC A&T University in Greensboro. She later graduated from East Carolina University with a Master Degree in School Administration and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
When she is not working to support the students and staff at Fox Road Magnet Elementary, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Ahmad and Alana.
