I have worked in the Wake County Public School System for over 20 years. Regardless of my role in education or in our community, I have demonstrated a belief system of supporting the whole child. Prior to becoming a school psychologist, I have had experiences serving children and families as a Community Assistance Provider (CAP worker), in afterschool programs, in summer programs, and various community and volunteer efforts. I recognize that strong collaborative teams that are driven by shared voice and shared vision can shift trajectories for our students. I hold true to the belief that all children can learn and that they should have equitable access to a quality education.

I came to the Bridges Program almost 16 years ago from Washington, DC.  I have 24+ years of teaching experience and love helping students recognize their abilities and get them re-engaged and excited about learning while teaching them that character matters.
