  • Seniors in the Class of 2024 have the opportunity to be awarded stoles and cords to wear with their cap and gown for graduation. Criteria for the stoles is based on a student's weighted grade point average. Criteria for cords is based on guidelines defined by the group each cord represents.

    Stoles and cords will be given to Seniors when they pick up their cap and gown in the front hallway on May 15th and 16th during lunches and after school.

    Stoles (based on mid-year weighted GPA)

    Summa Cum Laude (4.25+)
    Magna Cum Laude (4.0-4.249)

    Cum Laude (3.75-3.99)


    Cords:
    • Purple - NC Scholar
    • White  - Service Club
    • Navy and Gold - National Honor Society
    • Silver  - Community Service Honor Cord (For Seniors in the class of 2024, 75 hours of service are required to earn a silver cord).
    • Blue and Red -French National Honor Society
    • Black, Red and Yellow - German National Honor
    • Red and Yellow - Spanish National Honor Society
    • Light Blue and Yellow - Math National Honor Society-Mu Alpha Theta
    • Red, Blue and Yellow in one cord, and Blue, Orange and Red in the other - Art National Honor Society
    • Light Blue and White - National Honor Society for Dance Arts 
    • Gold flecked Purple - Chinese Honor Society
    • Purple, Green and Gold - Science Honor Society
