My name is James Cole and I am the 7th grade assistant principal at Holly Ridge Middle School. I am originally from Rutherford county, NC and grew up with three brothers (one of them my fraternal twin). In high school I played sports and was very involved in my school’s chapter of FFA (Future Farmers of America). I received my BS in Science Education from NCSU in 2005 and then started my teaching career at Middle Creek High School. After completing a Masters in School Administration from NCSU in 2012, I joined the administrative team at “The Ridge” shortly after. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my wife (Shelby- a Spanish teacher at FVHS) and my two daughters Savannah  and Avery.
