Mrs. Cassidy is super excited to join the founding team at Barton Pond Elementary School as a 2nd grade teacher! She has taught middle and elementary school in Wake County for 24 years. Most recently, Mrs. Cassidy taught 5th and 2nd grades at Brassfield Elementary where she was part of the shift from a traditional to year-round schedule. She graduated with a degree in Biology and Psychology (Childhood Education & Development) from St. John Fisher College and continued her education at Penn State University. Mrs. Cassidy is looking forward to working with the staff, students, and families to Barton Pond!
