Mrs. Pakes has been teaching art in Wake County Public Schools since she graduated from Meredith College's Teaching Fellows program in 2008. For the past 13 years she has been the art teacher at Brassfield Elementary. While she loves her Brassy Bear family, she is excited to hop off of the multi-track year round calendar and start a new adventure as a Barton Pond Bullfrog. She looks forward to getting to know the Barton Pond staff, students, and families as we create a beautiful school together!
