Mrs. Simpson is honored to join the Barton Pond community as the School Counselor. Mrs. Simpson earned her specialist licensure and M.Ed in School Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill before serving as a school counselor at Green Elementary School for 4 years. She is a National Certified Counselor and is currently working towards National Board Certification. Mrs. Simpson is looking forward to empowering and advocating for Barton Pond’s students while building meaningful partnerships with staff, families and the community.
