    What to Give College Recommenders: Brag Sheet

    If students initially send a transcript to their college or university through the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC), there is nothing else to do. CFNC will automatically send the college and university a final transcript at the end of the school year.
    Common Application/Coalition/College websites
    If a student initially completes their college or university application through Common App, Coalition or any other website, the final transcript must be requested through College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) for in-state colleges/universities CFNC Link; or Wake County Public Schools Scribe ordering system for out-of-state schools WCPSS Scriborder. ​
    NCAA Clearinghouse ​
    Athletes must ensure they are registered for the NCAA Clearinghouse. Final transcripts will be electronically uploaded to the NCAA Clearinghouse system at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

    CFNC.org is a wonderful resource for College and Career Planning. Follow the instructions linked here to set-up an account and begin using this incredible tool to prepare for your future goals! Career Resources such as Resume Templates, Follow-up Letters, Thank You Letters can also be found on this website.
     
    Once your account is established, Log-in.Click on the orange tab at the top of, "Plan for a Career" and then follow the "Career Resources" link!

    Senior Honors

    All high schools will determine senior honors using this system based on the GPA at the end of the 1st Semester of the graduating year for students graduating at the end of eight semesters.  
    • Students with a 3.75 - 3.99 weighted grade point average shall receive the distinction of cum laude
    • Students with a 4.0 - 4.249 weighted grade point average shall receive the distinction of magna cum laude
    • Students with a 4.25 or higher weighted grade point average shall receive the distinction of summa cum laude

    For students graduating midyear, we will use this same system for determining graduation honors using the weighted GPA from the last completed semester of study. The principal shall have final approval of honors designations.
