Senior Awards & Rehearsal Event

Date:  Thursday, June 5

This is a REQUIRED event for all seniors who plan to participate in the graduation ceremony on June 13.

Event Schedule

Please note the schedule below for this event.

• 4:30pm:  Seniors must arrive and be seated in the aux. gym by this time.
• 4:30pm - 5:30pm:  Seniors will participate in rehearsal for graduation
• 5:30 - 6:00pm:  Arrival of guests to the main gym for the senior awards program
• 6:00 - 7:00pm:  Senior Awards Program
• After 7:00pm:  Senior Sunset in Stadium
  
  

General Notes About Rehearsal

Please note the following details for the rehearsal portion of the evening:

• All seniors will wear their caps & gowns for this event.
• Seniors may choose to wear more formal graduation clothes or more casual clothes under their gown.  
• Students are encouraged to wear shoes similar to graduation if those are not shoes you typically wear.
• Students who do not attend this event will not participate in the graduation program.  Any conflict must be cleared with the principal prior to June 5.
  
  

General Notes About Senior Awards Program

Please note the following details for the senior awards program portion of the evening:

• All seniors wear their caps & gowns for this event.
• The goal of this event is to celebrate scholarships and accomplishments to the greatest degree possible while also recognizing that there is a desire for the event to not run too long.  This event is best informed by students sharing scholarships and other celebrations with AFHS along the school year.
• Parents will be informed of seniors receiving awards at Senior Awards Night by mid-May.
