I am excited to join the LMES staff and students as an interim AP! I retired in 2022 and love coming back to love on the students and get to watch and know great teachers and staff. For 15 years, I enjoyed teaching middle grades mathematics and finished my career with 15 years as a middle school assistant principal. I had a chance to visit LMES prior to closing for the 2023-2024 school year and it was refreshing! I look forward to the new experience!

 

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, connecting with family and friends, traveling, volunteering, exercising, and reading.  I have two sons - Bryon (NCSU and Stanford graduate) and Kobe (UNC graduate). I graduated from NCSU, but I have learned to appreciate UNC in some ways. Go Pack!
