I am the Assistant Principal Intern for the 2024-2025 school year at Oakview Elementary. I am currently getting my Masters of School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.

I am originally from Mount Airy, NC. I lived there until I went to Campbell University to get my Bachelor's degree in Biology with Teacher Licensure. While at Campbell, I fell in love with this area and decided to stay. Prior to moving to this role, I spent nine years in the classroom as a high school science teacher where I taught biology, earth science, physics, and chemistry. I am so excited to make the transition to Elementary school in this administrator role and I am so thankful to be an Owl.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, family, and friends, as well as reading.
