I am thrilled and honored to serve as the proud Principal of East Garner Elementary School, bringing 15 years of educational experience. In addition to being a dedicated educator, I’m also a proud mother. My husband and I have been actively invested in the Garner community for the past five years. My background spans both elementary and high school education, and I hold degrees in Secondary Mathematics Education, School Administration, and Curriculum and Instruction from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). Before stepping into my current role, I spent five years as the Assistant Principal at South Garner High School.

I firmly believe in the values of respect, flexibility, and mutual accountability. My commitment lies in fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure student success. Building strong relationships with students, supporting their growth, and celebrating their achievements are at the core of my leadership. I’m excited to work alongside the Explorer community as we continue to empower and nurture our students for success.
