When and where is prom?
Prom is May 9th, 2026 at The Farm at 42! Prom will run from 7pm-11pm. Tickets cost $55.
Where can students purchase tickets?
Tickets are sold on GoFan.co. However, because the prom is only open to Juniors and Seniors and their guests, we must use a verification code for purchase. This means that students must purchase your ticket in person in Mrs. Guo's room (154). Students will pay for their tickets online using a card or online payment.
When can students purchase tickets?
Students may purchase tickets any school day at the following times in room 154 beginning on March 24th:

Before school, from 7:00am-7:20am.

Daily during seminar (must come with a pass).

After school on Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30-3:30pm.
Students may not come to purchase a ticket during class time, or they will be turned away and asked to come back during one of the times listed above. Ticket sales close on Thursday, April 30th. Students will not be able to purchase a ticket after this date. Please note that ticket sales are nonrefundable.
Can tickets be purchased using cash?
No, tickets must be purchased online through GoFan.co using a card, and it must be purchased in person with Mrs. Guo. Please see the purchase times listed above.
How many tickets can students purchase?
Each junior or senior is permitted to purchase 1 ticket for themselves, or 2 tickets for themself and a guest. No student may bring more than 1 guest to prom. All guests must be between the ages of 15-20 years old (9th graders age 14 are an exception to this rule).
If the guest is an East Wake student, no additional steps need to be taken outside of purchasing the tickets. If the guest is not from East Wake High School, please see the information below.
What if a student is bringing a guest from another school?
Students will need to pick up an off-campus guest form from Mrs. Guo in room 154. These forms are due to Mrs. Guo, fully filled out, no later than Tuesday, April 28th.
All off-campus guests must be approved to attend prom. Tickets cannot purchased for a non-East Wake student who has not been approved. Ticket sales are nonrefundable, so students should be sure to get the form turned in as soon as possible!
When do prom ticket sales close?
The last day to purchase at ticket is Thursday, April 30th. Students should not wait to purchase a ticket! Buy early to avoid the stress!
What if a student wants to run for prom king or queen?
King and Queen nominations are self-nominations only. This means students who want to run will nominate themselves. They can find the form with additional information on the seminar announcement slides.
