Current High School Students
The Academic Enrichment Opportunities Program (AEO) is available for current high school students that meet certain criteria:
- Must have exhausted all course options available at your high school
- Cumulative weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher. Transcripts and standardized test scores (e.g. SAT, ACT) consistent with students entering the university’s freshman class may be required.
- Junior or senior standing, or rising junior or senior
- Must receive written permission from their school principal; details are included within the online application
- On track to graduate on time

AEO at NC State admits students on a year-round basis, making it convenient for students to start their journey when it’s the right time for them.
