This message is from Gary Duvall the proud principal of Holly Springs High School regarding the Weekly Update for 4/7/25 through 4/11/25.  We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and we are ready for the final push towards the end of the year.  Thank you again for all of your support and we are ready for a great week ahead. 

Morning Carpool 

In an effort to reduce the amount of time families are having to wait in the morning we would like to offer a few spring reminders. Thanks in advance for your help. 

1. Please pull your car all the way forward in the circle in order to que as many cars as possible. 

2. Please make sure students are ready to exit the vehicle once the car is stopped.

Save the Date for the Class of 2025 Baccalaureate Ceremony!  Friday, June 13 at 6pm at Hope Community Church.  Registration details will be shared soon.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.

Rising Senior Parent Night and College Panel - April 24th at 6pm in the Auditorium

Student Services will host a Junior Parent night to share with parents all the details of preparing your child for Post Secondary Planning.  A panel of College Representatives will also be present for an informational Question/Answer session.

Senior Parents, We are now entering Scholarship Season!  Free MONEY!!! Please make sure you check our website weekly to see if there are any scholarships you wish to apply to.

***Attention Seniors!***

The PTSA is pleased to be offering TWO senior scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each again this year! The application period will open on March 24, 2025 and will close on April 28, 2025. The selected seniors will be recognized at the Senior Awards Ceremony on May 27th.

For a senior to be considered they must:

Be a senior in good standing – verified by School Enrollment/Registration/Records.

Have a minimum weighted grade point average of 3.0, verified by school records.

Been accepted at a technical school, community college, or college/university for Fall 2025, verified by a copy of the student’s acceptance letter.

Be a member of the HSHS PTSA based upon membership records.
