With two decades of hands-on classroom experience and a rich background as a literacy coach, Dr. Lamon brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for education to the assistant principal role. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of School Administration, and a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction, she is well-equipped to foster academic excellence. Outside of work, Dr. Lamon enjoys spending time with her family, including her son, when he is home from college, and her delightful Shih Tzu, Duke, a charming companion who proudly sports his Blue Devil spirit.

Ms. Bigelow spent most of her childhood in Delaware before attending Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!) where she received her undergraduate degree in elementary education. While working as a 4th grade teacher, Ms. Bigelow earned her Masters in Instructional Technology.  In addition to her time as a 4th grade teacher, Ms. Bigelow has also spent time as an AIG teacher and technology teacher.  Ms. Bigelow enjoys working part-time at ACES as well as spending time at home with her kids.
