The goal of English as a Second Language (ESL) Services is to prepare students to function successfully in classrooms where English is the medium for instruction for all subject areas.   Students who qualify for ESL services and need courses in their schedule to support their learning may participate in ESL I, ESL II, or ESL III courses.  Overall the course focuses on language acquisition skills to support the learning process as opposed to serving as a "study hall" to support other course work.
