My philosophy of Art Education is deeply rooted in the idea that art is vital for EVERY child. Art education enables students to see their uniqueness AND to see commonalities with others. Art helps students to understand cultures beyond their own. It builds a students’ capacity for critical thinking, decision-making, self-directed learning, and problem-solving.
