Single Subject Acceleration

Students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K-7 can take advanced academic content in mathematics or English Language Arts through Single Subject Acceleration (SSA). This ensures opportunities for appropriate levels of academic challenge. Only students who are currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open nomination and testing window are eligible to be considered for SSA.

If you cannot complete the Google form, please submit a request in writing to the school's SSA contact.
Testing Windows
2024–25 Testing Windows are coming soon.
Your request for testing must be documented and will be provided to the SSA Coordinator at your school. You will receive a message stating your completion of the request. The request must clearly indicate which one subject you wish your student to be tested.

Completed SSA Test Request forms will only be accepted during the track 4 nomination window: March 11-March 22. The Request Form will be available when the window opens.
