• York Elementary is proud to offer families before & after school care this year that will be held on campus in the cafeteria, gym, and playground.

     

    Important Details:

    - Students must be five years old on or before August 31st of the current school year to enroll in the program.

    - Our before-school program starts as early as 6:30 am.

    - Our after-school program ends at 6:00 p.m. (after that a late fee will be charged).

    *Excessive lateness in picking up your child may result in an explusion from the program. Our Program Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with families should this occur.

    • Enrolling and paying for services

      Student enrollment forms, parent information sheets, and payment schedules are based on our school bell schedule. We will have forms and will start taking registrations for this year's program in August as well as at Meet the Teacher and through out the school year.

      There are separate $15, non-refundable registration fees in the Before and After-School Programs. Fees are based on an hourly rate and apply to all children in a family.

      Program fees can be paid for through the WCPSS Online School Payment Portal once the student is registered at their school. We will not be able to accept checks or cash. All payments must be set up electronically. 

       

    • Inclement weather information for WCPSS provided After-School Care

      Before/After School

      • If WCPSS cancels school due to inclement weather, the Before/After School Program will not operate. The program will operate on the make-up day(s) designated by the Board of Education.
      • If school closes early due to inclement weather, the After-School program will not operate. Parents are to pick up their children as soon as possible. If the Superintendent cancels all after-school activities, the After-School Program will not operate. Parents are to pick up their children at the close of school.
