Booster Club Information

  • IMP Booster Club

The Imp Booster Club is a volunteer organization committed to providing the student-athletes of Cary High School with the best facilities, equipment, protection and opportunities. In order to provide these opportunities, the Athletic Boosters raise approximately 2/3 of the annual athletic budget at Cary High School. In addition to funding a majority of the annual operating budget, the Athletic Boosters have raised funds for facility maintenance, activity buses, field renovation, coaching clinics, weight room additions, exterior storage building, equipment, and uniforms.

    NJROTC Booster’s Club

The CHS NJROTC Booster’s Club consists of parents that are dedicated to supporting the unit’s activities by organizing and working many fundraisers, and supporting our cadets as chaperones and cheering sections throughout the year. Although the Navy provides for uniforms, textbooks, and training aids for the program, the majority of funding for our unit is achieved through our Booster Club fundraising. Your volunteerism and support are vital to the success of your student and the unit. We look forward to your participation and support of the unit this year.

    Performing Arts Booster Club (PABC)

The Cary High PABC is an organization of parents and teachers. Our goal is to support the wonderful CHS staff and students in Drama, Chorus and Orchestra. We staff the box office and concessions at each performance, provide advertising and programs, conduct fundraisers to help with the many expenses of performances, and volunteer to help with everything from snacks to costume needs for performances. PABC is a 501(c)3 organization.  All donations to PABC are tax-deductible All parents of performing arts students are members of PABC. Parents may contribute to PABC by purchasing a paid membership, the benefits of which include pre-paid admission to performances. We do not hold general meetings of the PABC during the year. Our main means of communication is the PABC website, http://caryhsperformingarts.com/.  Ms. McCormick kmccormick@wcpss.net Ed Yasick eyasick@wcpss.net

The PABC Board consists of the PABC officers and the chorus and drama teachers. The Board and officers coordinate all of the activities of the PABC.

    Cary High Band Boosters

Parents of all the band students make up the membership of this organization and manage the logistic problems of transporting equipment, instruments, and students to competitions. Volunteer parents also sew all the Band’s flags, capes, and sashes as well as design and make the necessary props each year. They make and serve dinner to the entire Band and staff during Band Camp, and provide sports drinks, water, snacks, and meals during home performances or away competitions. In their spare time, they line the practice fields, issue and inspect all uniforms, shoes, and ditty bags, pack the trailer, load the uniforms, chaperone the buses, supply medical assistance, transport the pit equipment on the field at competitions, and much, much more. In addition, they contribute countless hours of fund raising to help the Band meet expenses. The Cary Band Boosters Club is a legally incorporated non-profit organization, organized to support the Cary High School Band and its Directors in musical education and enjoyment.

The purposes of this Club are to:

    1. Promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to the study and culture of instrumental music and the enjoyment and wholesome utilization thereof,
    2. Solicit, collect, and otherwise handle and dispose of funds in the promotion of the activities of the Cary High School Band (with advice and counsel from the Band Director and School Principal),
    3. Assist the public within the Cary area in promoting and developing an outstanding music education program, and
    4. Seek the cooperation of other organizations and groups in the Cary area in promoting Cary Band Day. President: Greg Krous
