Alpha Beta Club

Advisor: Ms. Watson (swatson5@wcpss.net)

Meetings: 1st Monday of the month in room 1019

This club is designed to give students an opportunity to promote and develop leadership skills along with serving their community. Sophomores and spring- semester freshmen who have achieved a cumulative 3.6 GPA may apply. 

Student Requirements:

• Attend a meeting once a month
• Complete 6 group service hours each semester
• Complete 6 individual service hours each semester
• Maintain a 3.6 GPA 

National Honor Society

Advisor: Ms. York (cyork@wcpss.net)

National Honor Society is an honor organization for Juniors and Seniors. Students must have and maintain a 3.6-weighted GPA to be eligible and must attend an informational meeting on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in order to apply.

Once students apply, an anonymous faculty council scores the application and new members are tapped for membership in the middle of October. Once tapped, students participate in a wide variety of service activities, both within the school and in the larger community as well. There are mandatory monthly meetings and students need to complete a specified number of service hours to maintain membership in the organization.
