Important information for End of Year Testing:

Update Chromebooks Several Days Prior to Online Testing

End of year testing is approaching quickly. For online testing apps to operate correctly, ensure Chromebooks are updated to ChromeOS version 118 or higher. Do NOT wait until the morning of testing to update Chromebooks. Students can check the current ChromeOS version on the login screen by pressing ALT and V keys together. In the top right corner of the screen, the current ChromeOS version will display. If needed, follow these steps to update to the current ChromeOS version (118 or higher): In bottom right corner, click system tray >> Click Settings (Gear Icon) >> Click About ChromeOS >> Click Check for updates (allow updates to install) >> Restart the device. Important: Depending on the number of OS versions the device is behind, you may be prompted to restart multiple times.
