Alexandra Ramsey, Lead Secretary

My name is Alexandra Ramsey, but I usually go by Ms. Alex. This is my first time in the school secretary role, and I absolutely love it! Getting to see the children every day completely warms my heart. I am the proud mother of two beautiful girls and an 8-year-old dog that still acts like a puppy. I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and have lived in several different states over the last few years, the most recent being California. I have only lived in North Carolina 6 months but already know it is our forever home. We are a very active family and love hiking, swimming, fishing, and practicing martial arts. Prior to working for Wake County Public Schools, I was an Administrative Assistant for the Senior Director of Student/Health Services at a charter school in California. Before that, I was the Assistant manager at a high-end catering company in Temecula Valley, CA. I am very honored to be able to be a part of such an amazing center and work with so many wonderful people. Children bring it all to life and they have sparked my passion for education, letting me know that when I wake up every day happy to go to work, well, I have found my calling.
