I am thrilled to be the principal of Douglas Magnet Elementary School. I come with 23 years of experience in education. I have been a classroom teacher, k-5 instructional coach, and an elementary school assistant principal. In addition to my role as an educator, I am a mother and wife first and foremost. 

I believe that every child deserves an education that inspires and prepares them for a successful future. My goal is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.  As the principal of Douglas elementary, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated educators who share these beliefs and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students. Together, we are committed to creating an educational environment that empowers every student to succeed.
